So, a year and a half ago, I replaced my Driver's side (Left Sorry I am Canadian) CV joint. Fixed my ABS issue everything is great.

A month ago, I had the ABS light start to come on after about 5KM of speed. No Code no engine light. Now on all the time with engine light.
Code is only P1000, no help.
I now lose Speedo after a couple of minutes of driving and radio get's static. Happens at the same time.

So I have an electrical problem. I have read all the ABS posts about cleaning and testing ABS sensors.

However the radio issue leads me to think it's a ground problem.
I tested the battery also, with and without car running. It's fine. I also took it to a garage and had it load tested, it's fine.

Which ABS scanner should I purchase to pull some code so I know where to start. Its -15C and we have snow on the ground.
This is my winter car and would like to fix this myself, but my wife is getting impatient. I have may have to take it in to an electrical garage.

As it not throwing any codes, I Don't think it's the right CV.

Anyone has an experience with you losing speedo and radio?

Lastest update.
Engine light was off most of the day yesterday, but still no speedo.
Then light can back on just before I got home. 40K commute.
Pull C1175 and C1165. Since I replaced LH CV joint last year, Doubt it's both.

Questions
1) Can some explain the different role of the reluctor ring vs abs sensor on rear wheels?

2) I think is a wiring issue, Did anyone have issue with the wire coming from the backseat fraying, and causing both left and right sides to report failure.

3) Does anyone know of an abs scanner the works for X-type. My ODB II scaner reads the C codes but not the ABS stuff.
