Cool Air conditioner smell

There is foul smell coming out from my conditioner vents. Anyone know how to correct this.

Read the Cabin Air Filter thread on this page, start there if you have not changed it in the past year or so.

Before you reach your destination (5 min before) switch off the AC and leave only ventilation on.
Ideea is that humidity from the air is condensed on the cooler of the AC instalation and if not dried, enables the growth of a bacteria called Legionella which in early stages only causes bad smell but with large AC systems (industrial) can cause disease to people. Its temp growth range is the temperatures that we like (10* to 50*C) and it is destroied at high temperatures.
Long story short, dry your instalation before you leave car for a longer time.

R.
