Thanks again Aquill1 and Nineball:

Now that my nightmare limp mode episode is resolved with a new air flow sensor:

what is the most cost effective (cheapest) way to add some bass to my music. I don't have to set off car alarms, I just want some nice tight bass.

I have a 2002 X-type with navi. Therefore I want to keep my factory setup and just add a subwoofer. Can I add something like a self powered Infinity Basslink or Bazooka Tubes? or do I go get a separate amp and sub thru an RCA converter?

I appreciate any thoughts!

I been thinking in adding a sub as well, but if I hook it up using the rear speaker wires(high input)would I get engine noise? I have a 2004 w/navi and front tweeters in the door handles, but no factory sub system in the trunk. Somebody needs to do a write up....

You won't get sound from the noise seeing that you do it right...make sure the wires are decent quality and even than they have filters for that kind of stuff...personally I've never like the quality of the high level inputs...but considering you already have navigation I wouldn't want to switch out that radio for anything else thats for sure! What exactly do you want written up? Most people on here that want sounds in their car put an aftermarket radio in their car so that is why their really is no write up about it...either you or hanky should get hot on that one! It'll be like your 10th post going straight to the faq section! Me personally I have to save my money so I can get a navi unit in my car! My cost on the avic-d3 is about 800 bucks I think so I have some saving to do...kind of hard when I don't technically have a job!
