Default Another Control Arm Thread

the bushings in my rear lower fronts are out, seemingly. haven't checked but im truly relying on it.. getting some negative camber. seems like a simple diy. just need some advice on getting the parts.. found some used sites selling them for 60 each. would it be smart to get the used or spend the extra eighty or so dollars to get new ones? i just dont want to get the used ones and them come with the bushings worn to a point where id have to replace them again. there is a warranty though i suppose.. just hope this is the actual problem.. wheel is pretty slanted. other one is slanted in the same direction though (mirrored) so idt the subframe is 'off'? any tips would be great. have seen some walkthroughs on this subject also that are going to be helpful

You may have seen my writeup about this which you can see here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...rite-up-68023/

As for adjusting the subframe, I cannot help, but I bought both control arms for around $120 shipped to my door from the UK and they were new. Pretty good deal actually and shipping took less than a week. There is a link in my writeup

Well mine is a sport, so the camber is pretty negative from the factory. I am working with thermo on finding an adjustable upper control arm for these cars

I would contact the seller on ebay and see if they will get some in stock in the near future

hey good idea. i dont have time to wait though really. but yeah i seen that he has been trying to figure something out. that'd be awesome. also, i checked, my bushings are torn to hell pretty much. it has slight play in the drive shaft too, which i am unsure about. some other bushings are worn as well which i plan to replace after the arms. christ, i just want to drive.

Yeah, the back suspension on these cars goes to **** pretty quick. The worst part is that you have to replace the whole arm and can't just replace the bushings. My advice is do it all yourself, and use parts from ebay or rockauto. Don't worry about the driveshaft until it starts causing problems
