this happen to me too.so i got a used tank and that cracked and decided to leak. i took the one that the nose snapped off drilled a hole at which then i got a metal clean pipe and cut it to the correct size, then put it in, used this gule and went around the outside of it and by the hole (forget waht it is called) that my friend had at his body shop got a air compressor blew out the inside so i didnt have any plastic shavings and let it sit over night then put it on and happly havent had any problems yet and hoping i wont.
you could also just go to a dealer but theyll set you back $165, i did it for nothing.
good luck

Best advice would be to replace it with a New Tank..I was told that the maker of the tank did some reinforcement to the weak areas on the new versions.
Realize that the tank is part of the sealed and pressurized system...I wouldn't want to be too far from home and the used replacement tank go out on you.

That happens to all of us....
New tanks can be had on the InnerWebbernet for about $120 (mine was few months ago) - now selling for $113...

Drilling your own hole and trying to seal it sounds like a recipie for recurrring leaks to me - why bother when you can have virgin plastic for around $100? That part is right out there on top, and relatively easy to replace.

Installation question re: Antifreeze container
Hey guys. Oddly enough, I have to travel to NYC where my car is parked in a garage there and I have to replace the container due to the same nozzle breaking off. I need to know what tools to bring other that the obvious screwdriver, pliers for the clamps, etc. I guess I should bring needle-nose pliers to get the broken off nozzle out of the tube. Is there anything else I am missing?
I also am bringing with me 2 liters of OES Genuine Anti-freeze and 2 liters of water as I understand it needs to be 50/50 (I have no idea how much I will need - I hope that is enough as almost all of it spurted out while driving down).
Is there anything else I am missing or any other notes I should know about?
Cheers!
