Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hope everyone had a good turkey day!! I had a fuel gauge concern and couldn't seem to find any threads on that subject. Gauge read 1/4 tank, so filled up and when I started the car gauge went to empty and stayed there. Doesn't appear to be a fuse out, however it is hard to see at night. Any ideas?

remaricle, you can remove the rear seat and there is an access cover on the passenger side that will allow you to access the passenger side stuff (level sender and 1 of the fuel pumps). Just be careful with the plastic ring on the top of the tank as with the colder weather, it can be a bear to get off and will be fairly brittle. If you can get the car inside a heated garage for an hour or so before hand, that would be ideal.
As for the level gauge working again, sounds like a broken wire inside the sender. I had the same symptoms. I could watch the level come and go.
