RE: Arden supplier in the USA?
I'd highly recommend going through Eisenhaus for Arden parts. Arden does a lot of business with these guys in Germany so they have a very strong relationship. XK's Unlimited used to be an official retailer (unlike JaguarXP who lists the items but Arden won't supply them) but those guys are not worth doing business with. Ther may likely be few others in the USA but unless they have the parts stocked or at discount I would go through Eisenhaus.

I guess I never noticed the pricetag before. Checkout Page7 at line-item AAK 25700 for Arden Performance Increase for X-Type 3.0 V6: $9,849!!!!
OUCH!
I really hope something more affordable pops-up one of these days (in terms of ECU flash/upgrades).

Yea, now just factory what it will cost you to ship your car to Germany and back and your ECU is tuned for a mere $16,000!
Even a domestic tuner will charge a minimum of at least $3k to reflash a Jaguar ECU, it's not a simple process and can actually have negative results if they don't know what they are doing.
If something 'more affordable' was going to happen, it would have happened already. Chip supliers feel that there wasn't enough of a market to sell a chip for the X so when the X is dropped after '08 then what would influence them otherwise?
