Default Audio Setup menu vanished :-(

Hi guys!

New to this forum all the way from New Zealand. Just wondering if someone might have some suggestions to solving my problem...

I recently purchased a 2006 X-Type, Japanese Import. When I entered the "Audio Setup" screen, the only options I had were to change the market (EU, JP, US, AUS) - Nothing about RDS, FM etc.
I tried to select the AUS and EU options but nothing happened.

I since purchased a NavMap update from WhereIsMaps and successfully updated the navigation system and software version to 9.03, but now when I try to access the Audio Setup screen, there are absolutely no options.

Has anyone else come across this?
Is there a way to restore the menus?
Is there a way to change the market to EU without using the touchscreen menus (some funky code or turn ignition on, lock the door, hold your tongue to the left, wink with the right and restart the car )?

Because Japan uses a different standard for FM transmissions, I can't get most of them here without some sort of FM Expander... But I've read that changing the market region to EU *may* solve the problem without the need to add an expander.

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers
Rich
