Glasgow UK bro.
Tints sound really cool, thinkin bout it, nuthin too "drug dealerish" tho.
As for detailing, I love to give my cars a good goin over inside n out.
Wash n chamois dry, tyre slick all the tyres n back to black all the black bits. Clean all the windows inside n out, then start on the interior. Vacuum everywhere plus all the mats. Use a small 1/2 " paint brush to get all dust ect out of vents and fiddly bits, then a nice shine with "cockpit shine" finished off with a nice fragrance.
Still, exterior looks nowhere near as good as this guy I was telling you about. The paint looks like a mirror, I swear to god.

I want the paint to shine like a mirror for sure. re the tint, yeah nothing thuggish. Just enough to be noticeable....
I can probably clean the inside really well, wash the mats and treat the leather. However, i want professional expertise when it comes to the exterior.
BTW, do you get the engine washed/cleaned?

There's a product ( can't remember what its called now) lightly steam clean the engine and apply, (its a degreasing formula) wait for 5 - 10 mins and then steam clean...............BLING!......Like new.
Someone, was talking about painting the V6 emblem with heat resistant red paint...........hmmm.........not sure, would look nice though!

I was thinking about removing the caliphers. I have done it b4, but i guess it might be easier leaving it on and painting it.

The red looks nice too especially with the white decals, but too boy racerish for me and the X.
They do various colours in both the paint and the decals so see what suits u n your baby

Need to wait for some time off and better weather Dunhill, so might be a month or two yet. I'll post before n after pics as soon as I do it for sure.
Buck - re the decals sticking mate, I think I read that the best idea is to try and attach / apply them while the paint is still slightly sticky, this helps in the bonding process, allegedly!
Did you try that method?

Not to mention what happens when you wash the things with a power washer? Must be some strong stickers to hang on with all of the weather, heat and cleaning you have to do to stay on!
