back end too high?

back end too high?
i looked at my car the other day and the back end looked "lifted" or the front looked "slamed". I know they just changed one of my rear shocks before I got the car (and no i don't remember looking at the height of the front and back before they changed it.) would that have affected anything? is there a break in period for the new shock? or a spring adjustment maybe? i know, i know[sm=ttiwwp.gif]... but it is dark outside right now so i don't think a pic would be any good. just wanted to get this up here now because it is bothering me.

RE: back end too high?
Oh my, that is quite a difference. Looks like the *** is way up in the air. Front looks normal though. I dont' pay a whole lot of attention to the x-type ride height around here, but surely I would have noticed if that was the norm. I'd compress the spring somehow, def not cut them. Hey, it's easier to lower it than it is to raise it up.

Hard to say...what year is your new baby? Perhaps the tech guys can check their 'crystal ball computer' to see what the ground clearance is supposed to be.

RE: back end too high?
well i put 3 buddys in teh back seat and drove around for a few minutes. Their total weight was about 600 lbs. When I parked and we all got out the back seemed to drop to the correct height! LOL I guess the springs just needed a push! Thanks for the idea and the help. I will put pictures up tonight.
