Black Rims on Green Sport?

I recently purchased an '03 2.5 Sport which is dark green (Not BR Green). I've been planning to purchase new Rims once the tires go in a few months, and I've been thinking about black rims. With the dark green, and soon to be tinted windows, I figure Black rims would look better than silver since the car lacks all chrome. Has anyone done this or have any pictures of what it would look like?
Also, I have 16s on the car now, would switching to 18s drastically reduce the ride?
Thanks !

comissioner, I have a black sport with 18's and I run 225/40/18's. I have two sets of rims right now: Stern st15's and stock volvo venator wheels. My original idea was to buy the venator wheels and then black them out which plasti dip, but I decided that I liked the chrome alot. The 18's didn't kill the ride all that much, but you just have to remember that you have a lot less tire between you and the road so potholes will bend your rims bad if you hit them. Lower profile tires have actually improved my lateral stability and I wouldn't really let that go for "feeling the road" a little bit more. I think you should consider something like the stern st15's because they stand out with the chrome but also look aggressive with the black.

>I've been thinking about black rims.
Good choice, they won't show the brake dust that collects on them.
Did I tell everybody how much I hate the Cayman wheels on my X-Type because they are so hard to keep clean!!!!!
