Hi - the subwoofers in the boot on my 2007 XJ Sovereign 2.7 TDVi are not working. All other speakers work perfectly, but nothing from the subwoofers in the boot. There is also a speaker icon with the letter "R" on radio display, but this is greyed out, and I can't find nay reference to this icon anywhere. I don't know if there's a separate amp for the subwoofers, or if it's all controlled by the main amp, which is working. Can anyone help please?

Secondly (now I'm no master electrician or whatever), when I bought my x-type two speakers were blown, I could confirm this by both removing the blown ones and one similar from the other side and simply plugging it into the port where the sound wasn't coming from, and that played sounds just fine. Confirming the speaker was the fault.

Thanks for letting me know I'm in the wrong Forum, apologies - it's the first time I've ever posted anything, and I had an X-Type prior to getting this XJ a week ago.
I've now posted it on the correct forum using your link!
Thank you for replying with your suggestion, I'll try that, and hopefully it'll only be the speakers.
