RE: Borla arrived...
I've had experience with both the Borla and the Arden (quad, high performance) exhausts.
I found that the Borla was a bit louder but not as fine tuned and deep of a tone as the Arden exhaust. I did not notice any power gain from the Borla.
The Arden exhaust was obviously tweaked for optimum sound and performance. If you could hear the exhausts side by side in person you would not even think about getting a Borla (if price wasn't an issue). Also, there is noticeable performance gain with the high performance model. If your not real heavy on the gas the Arden exhaust remains far more quite then the Borla.
So basically, if you just want an exhaust that will give you a loud growl then go with the Borla. But, if you are all about a unqiue tone and expect some performance gain (even without a ECU tuning) then the Arden quad is hands down the way to go. Side by side the Borla looks like a tinker toy and the Arden exhaust you would hesitate to put under you car it's so gorgeous.

RE: Borla arrived...
Got the Borla installed this weekend. What a difference...excellent sound quality, noticeable (small) performance increase combined w/ the K&N. Here's a halfway done shot. Gotta love the look over stock. The hardest part was hacksawing the old mufflers off.
If someone can tell me how to upload/post videos I have before and after w/ sound.

RE: Borla arrived...
Looks real good.
I think the note might be too much for the wife though hehee.
I doubt I will be able to put it on the Jag....
I plan on adding some tips to the Jag if possible though.
The tips seem like they run straight back almost to the muffler itself.
So I am not sure if there is enough room to cut them off and add on some
tips that look better and fill out the cut out better.
