Hey Buck, looks pretty good.
Not sure about the sound though..........too much radio interference in before clip to really try and differentiate.
How'd you rate it for looks and sound comparison?

I'm pleased with the look. They wanted to hang it a little higher but I asked them to lower it slightly so I can get a cloth in on the top of the exhaust for cleaning.I am going to seal it with some Alloy wheel sealer tomorrow when its cooled off to try and keep it looking good.
The sound is a deep burble (V8 like?) on idle and low throttle and not much different I dont think at high revs.
The 70k service was done too and the fuel filter was full of crap.Much more responsive since the service and feels a bit more torquey with the new exhaust.
Thats the good news.
The bad news is I need 2 rear lower arms, rear brake pipes and an engine crank(case?) seal within the next 6 months. The guy doing the service reckons the seal is a 1hour job. This explains using 1.5 ltrs of oil between service and none lying on the ground.

+1 on the sport! Nice post there buck, you should do the same thing for the after as you did for the pre as far as video is concerned...nice and quiet! I was watching it and you were getting in on the right side and I was like what the heck is he doing? So weird to see your guyses steering wheels on the right (passenger) side. One thing that I did notice is that was manual transmission correct? How come you can start it without the clutch being depressed? And when did you do the red leather? You just dye it? Any link about that?

Thanks Aquil1.
The seats/door inserts are Cranberry leather straight from the factory when new.It was one of the things that sold me on the car when I bought it.Soon after a salesman at a local sealer said he had never sold a car with Cranberry in all the years he had been selling.
The calipers are being painted one by one as and when I refurb each wheel.I use high temp red spray paint (from Halfords) with a couple of coats of clear lacquer to seal it in and give the calipers a nice shine.
The car is a manual so dont need the foot on the brake.
I like the look too.The fitter wanted to put them a little closer to the rear lower valence (which had to be cut because its a diesel one from the sensor upgrade which I didnt know until I was told at the 70k service yesterday as it has a slight cut out on each side) but I asked for him to lower it slightly so I could get access to clean it.Off now to put a good coating of Alloy Wheel sealer on the tips to keep them looking good. Then its off to Spain.

Adios (for a week)

I think aquill meant that do you have to put the clutch down in order to start the car, or does it just start by turning the key. I have to have the clutch down to be able to start the car.

In my Nissan I need the clutch down to start the car! I wonder how much it would cost to bring a car from europe to the US? I would love to have a RHD Jag here as that **** would be pimp as ****! I'd get all of the women looking I'm sure!

Yeah these guys know what I was saying do you have it bypassed or is that just another thing that you guys have in europe? Those seats are freakin' sweet! Be nice and easy to get remtote start considering you don't have to hold the clutch down. Here you can get one for manual but they do extra stuff to bypass the clutch. You lucky sons of guns you!

I just asked for a few quotes from a few shipping companies, and I'll post the cost to import a Jag after I get my answer. To ship my nissan from Miami to LA its about 800 bucks, so oversees shipping should be a pain in the ****!

I think there would be a lot of emissions crap you would have to fix too in order to pass a smog test. the cost to bring a car here from europe would probably cost way more then just buying it from here, and doing a conversion to the righthand side.

Does Florida have a strict emissions policy? Here in Michigan I don't think we have anything. I'd rather import than convert by far though! I'm with you on this on bigdreams! If money is no object!

Florida has NO emissions testing. You can get a ticket if you don't have the catalytic converter on, but no cop has ever checked under my Nissan to realize it's not there.

Just takes that right pain in the ****! They usually won't do anything to you until they catch you doing something stupid or feel like an idiot when they can't give you a ticket and they have to find at least something to get you for...especially if you're a ***** to them!

Man those guys will always get you on sumthin.....no matter how trivial if they want to!
Been there, seen it and done it - unfortunately.
Being a smart ***, took me a while to learn to keep my mouth shut and take the basic slap on the wrist.......lol
A little older and a little wiser now.
