both front tires have worn tread on inner side of tires
hi all...been a while since posting as i've been able to fix my various issues on my own :+)
just did a quick inspection of the car and noticed the inner side of both front tires have excess wear...does this sound like an alignment issue or perhaps lower control arms or balljoints?...both tierod ends were replaced about 6 months ago and driver side balljoint and wheel bearing were replaced around the same time.

iownme, you have an alignment issue. Could be caused simply by the roads in your area. I know my car looses its alignment fairly easy. I bet you are also experiencing a slight shake of the steering wheel when you drive over 60 mph. Another sign that your alignment is slightly off. We are only talking about maybe 0.5 degrees overall. That is all that mine is ever normally out.

thanks guys...yes, my steering wheel does have a slight side to side shake to it.
The last time i had it aligned they told me that the specs suggested putting a 150 pound weight on the passenger side while doing the alignment...does this sound correct?...
I'll take it to the shop this week and get a new alignment

Rockyf, must you put on new tires, NO. But, if you need to get new tires anyways, then you might as well get the tires put on and do the alignment all in one shot. Saves you time overall and garantees that when you put the tires on, you will have the best alignment and for the longest with the new tires.
