Brake Bleed with DSC

Brake Bleed with DSC
In my on-going battle with bringing my brakes back, after the ST225 and EBC Brake Hose swap, going on 7 months now,
Is there a special procedure with bleeding brakes on the x400, that's optioned with DSC?
I've went back and forth with iCarSoft support and, was told that my car/module does not support software bleeding.
I also tried TopDon and, was told based on the logs that the scanner supports a later software version (Bosch v8 and above).
I've read that turning off DSC and trying to bleed? In addition to putting a piece of wood under the brake pedal to make sure the seals on the Master Cylinder don't burst?
P.S: Is this also the case for the aftermarket master cylinders? I swapped my OEM one with a Centric.
