I see that many have liked green stuff pads,,, but I see several differnt versions available, red, yellow, green.. maybe more.
I tend to believe that the pads should be the same front to rear to make sure the intended brake forces are maintained.
I am inclined to order a full set of green stuff pads unless there are any serious drawbacks... I already have new discs in the basement, all painted around the hubs .. ready to go.
Next i need to figure out what suspension parts will fix my rattles.. I think I may get (read pay the 100 bucks) the dealer to diagnose the problem.

Dealers sell greenstuff as std over here in UK.I opted for Redstuff pads as I like to drive the car "spiritedly" and as they are ceramic they have no metalic particles so dont eat discs and leave virtually no dust. What dust there is wipes easily off (mostly road grime) and they are further complimented by grooved/dimpled discs by EBC as well.Only cost slightly more than the greenstuff too.Type scooby58 in at the EBCbrakesdirect.com checkout for 15% off and free (UK) shipping

Installed the greenstuff and everything went great. No issues at all. only had time to get the fronts done but that's what was needed the most. They are still breaking in but feel really good. I have a feeling they're gonna be a great brake pad for daily driving. I guess the only issue now is if buickmr2 thinks these will eat my new rotors. Either way I got the slotted ones from ebay for cheap and they feel great. No vibrations or squeeling at all. Good luck with your pick.

I have looked into the brake pads / discs and have decided to go for the grooved / dimpled performance discs all round complimented by redstuff pads. As Buck says, ceramic pads, high performance stopping power and virtually no dust, looks good to me!!
I reckon that discs and redstuff pads all round will be around £320, so with reverse park sensors and cruise control I am looking at, may have to wait a little while yet, but can't wait. I don't know bout you guys, but I think for such a big, powerful heavy car, the stopping distances leave a bit to be desired!
Anyways, will let yuo all know how I get on
