A/C problems
I'm having trouble with my 2005 X's a/c. I hooked up the gauges and it reads 23-low and 215-high at 100 degrees. Any idea what the problem could be? It's the coolest when sitting at idle. At least it feels that way.
Edit:
BTW, it doesn't cool down at all when running. I can't run it like this with the heat.

The real problem is I don't know what I'm doing! HAHA!
I took it to a local shop and they quickly pointed out that there was .43 lbs of refrigerant in the system. No idea how my gauges read what it did. I'll be taking them back to Harbor Freight.
It has a hole in the condenser hose going to the compressor. $200 for that, refill of refrigerant and about 2 hrs labor brings it just over $500. It's just too hot to drive with this heat. The hole is from a screw that rubbed it's way through the line.
Still no idea how I got the readings I did with nothing in the system, but at least it explains things.
