ABS light and code C1288.
Being a cheap ### I'm trying to fix my ABS light without spending $300 for a brake pressure transducer. Part # C2S6180.
Is it possible to take the offending part out, give it a good clean, and put it back in? I've been ignoring the light for over a year now. But I think it's time I tackle the problem.
Or, does anyone have one they can sell me?
Heres the troublesome part..

flyrr, see if the Lincoln LS 3.0L or the Volvo S40 part is the same piece. May be able to get it for much cheaper since it is not a Jaguar part. Might even cross over to something that would work in the Ford line-up (Fusion, Focus, etc). Might be worth a trip to the Ford dealership, give them the number you posted above and see what they say.
NOt that this helps too much, but, Jaguarparts.com has the switch for $237 plus S&H. Saves you about $50 over the list price. Probably something that you might be able to pick up at the junkyard for around $100 or less.
