Default Cabin Air Filter

I need to replace my cabin air filter. I see the Bosch C3611 as a replacement. I have also seen a Beck/Arnley list with temperature sensor for electronic control unit. Price difference is about $10 US.
I have the auto climate control so do I need the Beck/Arnley?

Romanik, no need to get one with the sensor too. I have the auto climate control in my car and all I replaced was the filter itself. Save your money and call it good.

X2^ just the filter unless you are experiencing issues with the temp settings on the climate control not producing the proper temps.

The Bosch version is what I normally use. Easy install, there are directions on this forum if you search.

I'd like to replace mine as well but I have a question : I see the K&N filter listed as a "Air Filter", while the Bosch C3611 as a "Pollen Filter". Are they supposed to be the same, or are they two different filters and both should be replaced eventually?

Cabin Air filter is also called pollen filter. This filter is located in the firewall.

I don't think K&N makes cabin air/pollen filters, although I may be wrong, but a K&N is generally referring to the air intake filter located at the front of the engine bay.

For the cabin air filter, you would want to pick one of these (at any site or store, this is just an example)

Air filters tend to allow more particulate through compared to a pollen filter. So, a pollen filter will tend to keep all the super fine stuff out of the car that a standard air filter would let through.

Default update cabin air filter

Changed the filter today. Very easy without taking off the wipers. BTW old filter was a Ford part number 1S7H-19G244-AC.
