Camshaft cover. Broken ignition coil screw insert hole

Hi guys, can’t anyone tell me if I need a replacement camshaft cover as the screw hole in which the coil screw goes into is broken. So the ignition coils slips off the spark plug. U can c it on the pic.

My money would be on replacing the cover - but your very best bet would be to repost this in the X-Type section here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ where there is a stackload of people far more knowledgeable than me :-)

I've moved your post from UK & Eire Region forum to X-Type forum for advice from members with the same model. Technical questions are best asked in the relevant Model forum.

If the verdict is you need a replacement, there's several specialist Jaguar breakers in the UK who may be able to supply.
