Sarah - Im glad thats all it was. I found out that the coolant direct from jag is red but has tints of green and brown in it. I bought 2 gallons from Jag total and both were the same. I don't know what type of coolant it is because the bottles were all in German...lol. In any case Im glad it wasn't a huge issue for you.
Mr. Fox - I have heard mixed results from people and dealers who do the tune-ups. I would say don't let it scare you from doing the tune up though. Its really easy to do, just be careful when removing the intake not to bump any coolant lines. If you do develop a leak check the O-ring in the aluminum coolant line as pictured above. The dealer said they do get a lot of those. After all, it is only one bolt holding it in. If that doesn't work the aluminum line probably is pitted or bent out of shape so you will need a new one. Again, not a horrible replacement cost at $40 considering its a Jag.

Coolant
Hi RH, just curios to see if you had to drain all coolant to replace the o-ring on this aluminum part? Also, would you happen to have the part number for the o-ring when you purchased it from the dealer? Your post made it so easy for me to find the leaking culprit so THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
