Chrome Bling !!

Chrome Bling !!
What is the general opinion of adding a little more Chrome to a Jaguar ?? I recently had a Dodge Caliber , Jeep Patriot & Dodge Avenger ( all unusual in UK ) strangely they were all black & I added Chrome Bling . Door handles , Mirror covers , some had a little grille work , & some fuel door covers .
I also installed a " Grey Marble " interior wood kit in the Avenger .
Also although I did " Bling " up the Jeep , I de.badged it also.
The UK spec Jeep Patriot was fitted witha 2 litre VW Diesel engine & a 6 speed manual box ..
My X-type has a good amount of chome already , but I just fancy door handles & mirror covers . I may also take a look at fitting frond window deflectors .....

Chrome mirror covers are quite okay, they were an optional extra I think (or standard on Sovereign trim level cars).
I like this idea, just got myself some of the stuff but it's too cold here to apply it now.
Whatever you do, don't put in big slabs of chrome. Chrome works well in small amounts here and there, but a large area of it will easily cheapen the look.

Five Speed, I say do it!
My wifes vehicle is a 2005 S Type, we "blinged it out with chrome headlight bezels, side marker bezels, tail light bezels, chrome mirror covers and the SS pillar covers. Yes there were nay sayers, but we love it!
Besides if we or you ever decide to sell the vehicle the new owners can easily remove the chrome add ons since its all attached with 3M double sided auto trim tape.
Besure to post up pics when added!

I Never Comment On...
One's spouse/significant other
Vehicle
House/Apartment/Condo/Etc.
Live and let live. BUT! I did add chrome mirror covers and door handle covers to my 2007 Mazda3 Five Door. They look nice! I would like to add some to my Jaguar, but I decided to keep my $ for my repairs!

The chrome on the arden model is in my opinion enough.

Too much chrome looks a bit shouty in my opinion. The X type is lower end budget and too much bling may appear tacky. I once saw an xtype with loads of leapers plastered all over it in silver. which ever way you looked at it you could see about 4 different non standard bits. Not good.
I have added a non standard bonnet badge to mine, but I've stopped there.
