Hey somekidz one of the things I've learned here is to never take racer seriously! This is the single most important thing you will read today!

For the kw coilovers, only the fronts are adjustable, the rears have a constant 1.4" drop.

Racer, I think the *** Jag mobile fits better

I did not know that. Thanks for the info.I think I'm going to start looking at some Eibach springs and shocks.

Coil-overs are beneficial if some like, lets say, a woman drives the car as well. I would keep them high when she drives, and I'd lower it on the days I'd want to show it off, when I would drive. Also, if you move from one place to another, coilovers allow for you to adjust your ride height in accordance to the quality of the streets where you live.
Adjustable coil-over kits are designed to lower the car, but the reason behind them is to be able to corner-balance the vehicle for racing, not drop it for a show. Improperly adjusted collars coil-overs can lead to one seriously shiddy ride, something I don't think you nor your significant other would much enjoy. It's quite a bit of work to raise and lower the vehicle and it actually requires an alignment every time the ride height is touched to avoid destroying your tires. I don't see much of a benefit in coil-overs if your sole intention is for show and street driving.

Now if you track your car, you will enjoy the flexibility of the setup and it's well worth the dough. If you're looking for a show-and-go kinda thing, you might want to consider lowering springs and a nice set of Bilstein HDs or a modified air-suspension to raise and lower the vehicle on command of a button (available for Subies, Bimmers... I'm sure you could find kit to modify to the X).

It's funny 'cause when I first bought this car, I thought the color was unique becuase I hadn't seen it before. Now I see them quite often. But, Istill have yet to see another 3.0L stick-shifted sport in Adriatic Blue![8D]

Really sonic...i've actually only seen one with adriatic blue and that one was either 05 or 06 because it was a sport but it had a chrome bar going across the rear that says jaguar with the trunk release button. Other than that one I've never seen our color in any other jag except that one!

The ones that have the "chrome bar going across the rear that says jaguar with the trunk release button" are only on the 02-03, the 04-present have the chrome bar just with the word JAGUAR on it, and the trunk release hidden under the bar.

I love chrome on wheels...most of the time...I've seen some nice x's with chrome just depends on the color! I have a certain distaste for chrome because of the hooptie rides rolling with the tape-on chrome on the wheels wells and edges of the doors!
