My X-Type 2005 has started to beep every two minutes whilst parked, and it's driving me mad.

It started after a flat battery, but during this time my sister's (lovely) kids pulled off the Nokia hands free button and microphone, which I have never used. So it might be something to do with this.

Local garage couldn't help. Car running well (and without beeps) when the engine is on.

 

Maybe try a hard reset, by removing the positive cable, and touching it to the negative cable for a half minute. Other than that, I am baffled.....Good Luck.....Mike
