Load suspension
Make sure that after all the bolts are in place, and you are about to tighten everything up that you somehow let the weight of the car back down on the suspension. These things don't have much give, and if you tighten it up while it's all jacked up, and the wheel is at the bottom of it's travel, when you set it down it wants to twist the guts out of the bushing. There is just enough give in the rubber to flex under normal driving conditions. That's my best guess anyhow, having replaced that part on mine right after I got it.
