Smile Coolant Leak

Hi everyone,
I have a pickle of a problem. I have a coolant leak that I can't identify. I have to put coolant in the car about twice a month. I look under the car, nothing, Under the coolant pump, nothing, in the oil, nothing, in all the cracks of the engine, nothing... now I don't know where to look next. I had to replace basically my whole coolant system, (everything except the radiator), so do you think that the system could still be "burping?"
The next thing I'm thinking about doing is pressure testing the coolant system, can you guys think of anything else to try?

Thanks for all your help guys!

James

Remove the cap, start the engine, turn heater on full, wait...top off coolant as necessary.

I drained all my coolant via the drain plug so I could R&R the water pump. Upon refill I was able to get about 90% of a gallon of distilled water and 90% of a std jug of Prestone Dex-Cool in. I topped it off the next day, but not by much.

So, when you drain thru the drain plug to a drip, you should then be able to fit almost 2 gallons of coolant-distilled water mix back in. That should bring it to full. I'm talking 2.5L here, not sure of the 3.0L has a larger radiator....

You said you replaced "basically the whole cooling system". Have you looked under the intake air box for a leak? There is a famous T-pipe apparatus under it and it gives out and starts leaking at about 90K miles.

Oh that wonderful upper radiator hose, yeah, replaced that. Someone used wood glue on the old one, wood glue to try and seal a leak on a plastic hose... ugh. I'm actually working on something to convert that whole upper hose to metal or brass. But, as of yet haven't been able to come up with anything.
