Dash warning lights
OK folk a puzzle I should be able to answer "but cant" Two warning lights below the speedo and above the mileage readout window, oblong lights with no symbol, one orange and one red. Both illuminate when ignition switched on and almost immediately go out and stay out. what do they denote please? Why I ask is that they both did stay on for a short while today after starting the engine. Switched off then on again and they went out. Just worried me. It's never happened before.
Thanks.
OK discovered what one of the lights is. It's a drivers door open warning but what's the other one> No it;s not passenger door.
Thanks.

Those two warning lights just above the LCD screen come on for a variety of faults. Generally the red one means serious problem, stop immediately (in practice, asap!) and the orange one means get this investigated asap. Drive with care. The red one usually puts a 3000 rpm limit on the engine. Exactly what the light means is usually shown on the LCD screen, eg Driver's Door Open. If there are more than one fault, their causes can be checked by cycling through the list using the trip button on the end of the indicator.
A full explanation and list of all the possible faults and whether red or orange is in the handbook in the On The Road section
