Door latch
So, I have two more little things to fix on my x-type. One is simple, the windshielf washer jet needs to be replace cause the part that the hose goes on broke, simple fix. The other, not as simple. The front passenger door doesn't open from the outside. The dealer looked at it while it was in there and wanted around 500 to fix it saying the part is around 350. I found an x-type at the wrecking yard that had an intact undamaged front passenger door so I figuared why pay them to do what I can. What I am wondering is if anyone has a diagram on the inside of the door, ie a parts list and everything if possible. I was going to look at taking the panel off tomorrow but now sure if there are any tricks or clips to watch out for. Has anyone taken their door apart to get to the latch how easy is it?

RE: Door latch
The door panels arent real difficult. There are three screws. One in the door handle and two at the bottom. Then you've got about 6 to 7 clips that need tender force to release. At the top you have a simple doorlatch to release as well. Then you can unattach the two wiring harnesses. Now the door panel should be off...I didnt really look much inside the door, there is some foam padding covering up the empty space(see pic below).
Thats about all I have...
