Default Driveshaft Alignment markings?

I was told that there should be a little letter "h" on the pinion flange where the drive shaft connects to. This is proper installation. I just marked mine with white out before removing. I do not see any alignment markings anywhere. Does anyone know what to look for? I don't see any letters or lines from factory anywhere.

Yeah I seen this video. My flange has no H on it. I cleaned it with a toothbrush as to not disturb the engraving. The driveshaft itself has no markings either and this video did not explain that. I do appreciate the efforts. My driveshaft was making noise the day I purchased the car so I do not even know if the alignment was even correct to begin with. I figured from factory there would be alignment marks on the driveshaft AND both flanges. This is not the case with this particular car.

Have you read how to properly align the driveshaft (propshaft)? Looks like a p.I.t.a.!

Yeah it does! I have a shop nearby that will laser align it. I thought that the actual bolt location matters as far as flange to to flange. I am guessing if they will align it, they can check that as well. I am not sure.

I was told that if the driveshaft is balanced, it doesn't matter what position it is placed as far as the flanges being bolted. My mechanic just told me this but it seems weird. I was expecting marks to be all over this thing. I am going to bolt it up and take it to the shop and get back to this thread to give closure to this mystery.
