Engine Light On (P0174 & P1111) HELP PLZ!
Hi guys, my engine light came on and went to autozone and these are the codes they got.
P0174 (Possibles List)
Definition:
- Fuel trim bank two condition
Explanation:
The ECM has detected a rich or lean Air/Fuel ratio condition on engine bank two.
Probable Cause:
1. If bank one and two are set together suspect a fuel pressure condition or MAF sensor fault.
2. Failed HO2S21
3. Ignition misfire condition
4. Fuel injector problem
5. Engine mechanical condition
P1111 (Possibles List)
Definition:
- Intake Air temperature (IAI) intermittent high voltage-low temperature condition.
Explanation:
ECM detected the IAI input voltage was intermittently high Temperature low.
Probable Cause:
1. Open circuit to IAI-Check connector
2. Failed IAI
3. Open Circuit Condition
-----------------------------------
This is all Spanish to me if someone can please instruct me in any helpful way I would appreciate it much. I want to thank you guys in advanced because yall helped out a lot last time I had an issue.
Thanks,
Kenan

If your engine also seems to be starved for air or fuel on acceleration from time to time, it may be the air control valve seal. I'm not sure of the technical name for it, but on the upper air manifold you should see 2 round black plastic covers with wires going into both. They will be held in place by 2 screws. I had a similar problem, and after spending $11 at the dealer I picked up 2 seals. They are round and green in color. The screws on mine were loose and the engine sounded like it was sucking air. 10 minutes later (after replacing the seals) all lights went away and it's been fine ever since. I did not have to remove any additional parts to get to the seals. Give a listen at engine idle. If you here a high pitched sucking sound by those covers, it's most likely the issue. A simply fix. Hope this helps!
