JagXtypeV63.0L, the first thing you need to do is figure out which one of the 4 engine mounts it is that is giving you grief. Odds are, you are looking at more than 1 if you are hearing a clunk. If you are not sure, then a simple check is to open the hood of the car, put your foot on the brake (and HOLD IT THERE) as you gently apply a little bit of gas (not a lot). If you have a broken engine mount, you will know as the engine will try and remove itself from the engine bay (hence the LITTLE BIT of gas). Granted, have you looked at the centering bearing on the rear driveshaft. I would suspect that long before an engine mount.
As for replacing an engine mount, not a tough job, but you need some very specific tools. The big one being a cherry picker. NEVER!!!! lift the engine by putting a jack under it. It is very easy to damage something down there like the oil pan. After that, you lift up slightly on the engine to create a small bit of room and then you can replace a mount. Not many people have a cherry picker at their disposal.
