Irish, as for the oil filter, this is what is a list of filters for the car:
Fram: PH3600, TG3600
K&N: HP-2009
Purolator: L20195, PL20195
Beck-Arney: 041-8174
MObil 1: M1-209
Bosch: D3422
As for changing out the oil filter, it is normally pretty easy. Reach under the front bumper, slightly to the passenger side (about a foot or so from center). You will see the filter sitting at a 45 degree angle off of the engine. Untwist, drop down. Add a little bit of oil to the new filter and screw back in. All done.
As for the air filter, I personally recommend the K&N filter if you plan on owning the car another 50K miles (70,000 KM). For what you would pay in paper filters, you can get a K&N filter. The car breathes a little better and I feel it helps with the mileage too.
Filters
K&N: 33-2264
Purolator: A25467
Beck-Arney: 042-1669
I'm sure there are a few more, but right now the car parts site I am on doesn't list any others. To swap, you remove the engine cover, then remove the 7 screws holding the top of the air box in place, lift up, slide out the old filter, slide in the new, tighten down. 10 minutes, done. Oh yeah, don't forget to put the engine cover back on.

i bought my K&N air filter off ebay brand new for around $50. there were about 8 screws total and it was very simple. thats definately the way to go on the air filter. you won't notice a difference in power or anything like that even though they advertise it. Its just the best you can get, and affordable so well worth it.

Before you change it, drape aluminum foil over the exhaust. When you loosen the filter, you will bathe the exhaust in old oil which will burn of with copious amounts of noxious smoke. Aluminum foil over the exhaust gets the oil bath. After the filter is replaced, pull off the foil. No smoke.
