Finding a new Catalytic Converter
Well I took off the front catalytic converter by the radiator and im looking to buy one a direct fit not universal but i never knew it would be complicated I have found a few of them for around $500 however my Test Group is 4JCXV03.0DNG and I can only find 4JCXV03.0DN8 so my question will the last digit of make a difference? or if anyone know where I can find it let me know I have a 2003 Jaguar X-Type 3.0L

If youre going to sell the car a universal or cheap aftermarket is fine. If youre going to keep it dont buy a cheapy, get a oem quality one. The cheap ones are cheap because they have much less precious metal in the cat that performs the cleaning and the light will come back on. Everyone ive seen has. The issue is the cats on the x are not easy to change and the back cat is alot of labor expense.

If its not plugged/coming apart why not clean it and put an 02 extender on the downstream 02 sensor. Like the angled ones from O2 Simulator, mini catalytic Converter cel fix
