Default Fog Light wiring

Fog lights just came in, I have everything connected properly except the main power. The wiring that came with them has an 8-pin connector, but from what I can see, the x type has a 6 pin connector? Can anyone confirm this? Looking at the tag on the wires now it says 27/06/03, so they sent me wiring from a 2003 and its not compatible?

Found the correct plug this time, 8 pin connector. Fog lights still aren't working though, I tried swapping the bulbs around, new bulbs, bulbs from old fog lights. I know some power is getting through because the side marker lights are working. Is there a separate fuse for fogs and side markers?

Also what is the 6 pin connector for on the driver(left side) near the wheel well?

Sparty, your fog lights are powered from the same circuit that does the high beams. So, if your high beams work, you should be getting power out to your fog lights. The power is redirectly using the high beam/fog light relay with the fog light power being routed after that back through the fog light switch (as I recall, still working on getting my JTIS up and working again).

As for the plug you are talking about, if it is up high, near the bumper, that is most likely for the headlight washers. But, that is just a guess. I would need to look at my car and see exactly what plug you are talking about.

Thank you for the response, the high beams do work. I don't have my headlight washers in right now but don't remember an electrical plug.

Any suggestion on what to try next? Something simple I may be overlooking?
