Front Brake Upgrade Questions

I searched and read all of the Brake upgrade postings I could find in the X-type, Mondeo and Focus/Fusion forums. I see a lot of postings on the SR-225 calipers in Europe, but little to nothing in the USA. I read threads on some of the AP and Brembo brake upgrade kits, but all I find is top level discussions. Overall, I find very little detail on Caliper and rotor P/Ns, and what fits and doesn’t
Perhaps someone in the group has been through this exercise and can summarize P/Ns and the following details.
1. SR-225 Caliper P/N and/or equivalent used in USA Focus or Fusion cars.
2. Front standard X-type Piston Diameter.
3. Front SR-255 piston Diameter.
4. Rotor diameter, Disc thickness, and rotor offset.
5. Compatible SR-225 rotor P/Ns.
6. Spindle/front hub brake caliper mounting flange hole spacing and bolt diameter.
7. Confirmation that available Brembo, Wildwod, AP racing kits available for the Mondeo MKII, Focus and Fusions will fit our cars.
I’ve been through this exercise many times on other cars. I don’t want to have to purchase several different calipers and rotors just for taking measurements.
I’ve had my X-type Wagon less than a week and already don’t like the brakes. I inspected the brake system and the brakes are in good condition. Perhaps the last owner put really low end pads on the car. In either case, I want to start buying up parts for an upgrade in spring.
Thanks.

TiJoe,
just an FYI, I put a set of these on my 06 about 2 years ago
They look great and they have saved my bacon a couple of times.
still going strong after 30K Miles.
Ebay Rotors and pads

Since no one stepped up and answered all my question, I'll have to do it the hard way.
I already purchased a used front spindle, another pair of used stock X-type calipers, and have some s-type rear 330 rotors to use for a fit check.
I can't find confirmed information what diameter piston the SR-225 calipers have. Some information indicates piston is 57mm. This would mean that the SR-225 calipers just fit a 320 rotor. Braking gains would only be base on a larger diameter rotor.
Therefore I will direct my energies towards fitting Brembo calipers.
My initial fit check indicates that I can fit 330 rotors with STR brembo calipers in my 17 inch wheels.. Only 8% more piston area so I am sure the stock ABS can handle the increase.
Biggest issue appears to be too big a registration hole diameter used in Volvo, Mondeo, and other off-the shelf rotors. 2nd order issue is finding a 330 rotor that is 32mm wide, or using caliper pad spacers if I have to use a 30mm wide rotor.
