Front driveshaft oil seal identification
Hello from a new member
I have a 2003 3.0 with a leak from the driveshaft seal / diff seal
I removed the seal and I am trying to identify the part number.....
the Jaguar dealer has one seal showing on the computer - part no C2S4875
I was disappointed to find that this seal is about 1/4 inch larger diameter than the seal I removed
I talked with the parts dept at the dealer and he cannot find an alternative seal in 'the system'
I would appreciate any comments and advice

I used the Jaguar Electronic Part Catalog (JEPC) that is available at the top of the forum in the FAQ area. Then copied the part number into SNG's web site and did some searching there. Sorry I misunderstood which end of the drive shaft you were looking for.

Also JPLV's web site: 2005 Jaguar X-Type Parts - Direct JPLV Porsche Parts.com
Here's the JEPC for the transfer case. It shows 3 seals. One of them is the one you have.
