Default Front sway bar end links installed, now I need sway bar bushings!

After doing some reading it sounded like most peoples' clunking problem came from the sway bar end links, so I figured what the heck, I'd order a pair and try them out since they were fairly inexpensive and easy to install. Well I put them in today, pretty simple install, took about an hour total both sides. Did notice the sway bar itself has some play and is pretty obviously the source of the clunking. Went ahead and put the new end links in anyways hoping it would get rid of some of the looseness.

Noticed the old sway bar end links were in relatively good shape still. Boots looked good, but the bolts moved around easily where on the new ones the bolts are in there stiff. On my test drive around a nice bumpy road, I noticed the car does handle a lot better and is about 1/3 quieter, but the same clunking from the sway bar is still there on the potholes. So anyways, I'm glad I put the new end links in, it was quite an improvement in handling for $40, but if I want a quiet suspension it looks like I do need the front sway bar bushings, which is quite a bit bigger project since it looks like I have to drop the subframe. Will that mess up my alignment?

Also I was wondering about going with the poly sway bar bushings. The stock bushings split in two and look easier to install, but the poly bushings I believe are one piece. Not sure how these would go on, but I don't see how they would slip on the end of the sway bar. Anyways, the normal bushings may be good enough but it would be cool to go with the poly bushings since they are roughly the same price.

No need to drop the sub frame. It can be done without dropping it. I just replaced mine last week.

The poly bushings are split too.

Ok because in the photo it looked like the were one piece so I was wondering how they slipped on over the bar ends. Now I really want to get them. My car is handling really good and just making a little noise over potholes now. Once I get the sway bar bushings it will be like rolling in a new car. Unfortunately I spent $1500 on my credit card putting in the lowering springs and all the other stuff lol.
