the pdf link mentioned above for the location of the scrader valve does show the valve...but not it's location. Yes it will be on the fuel rail somewhere....but is it accesable without removing the intake manifold?...surely it must be otherwise how would one check fuel pressure with the car running?.
sidenote.....last time i tried to download JTIS i was unable to...links were dead, i'll try again)

Yes, all original.... grabbed this bargain about 12 months ago (55K Miles) runs like a new one.... and not a scratch on it.

any fuel filter should be replaced every 60k as a general rule along with a air filter. Unless you live in the outback, then you ll need to replace the air filter much more often than that.
Also, the fuel system is supposed to be pressurized when shut off to ease restarting. Ive changed many a original filters over a 100k and still have never seen one plugged.
on the fuel pump and filter change, dont mistake "fuel filter on invoise as the accessable filter under the car. Rather it was more than likely the fuel filter sock on the pump inlet they changed 9k miles ago, not the one under the car you changed.
