Ground battery cable

Going thru the drill down for SNG Barratt shows that only the new version of the cable is now available. The older style you have is no longer stocked. So where to go from there. It should fit your battery just fine. I don't know where the additional ground wire is meant to connect. You could snip it at the connector or bolt it under a convenient body/chassis fastener.
The local auto stores are not going to have the pesky 90 Degree bent clamp configuration used on the x-type and a straight one will not let the battery cover mount back on without cutting. To replace the cable you have to remove the battery, the battery box and then you will see the mounting point for the end of the cable beneath the battery mounting plate. I removed the plate for ease of access but it isn't necessary., when you have it off polish and clean all of the surfaces before reassembly.
