RE: Guys...Help me find some shocks...
there is a lot more in the front to make noises than the shocks.. how can you be sure it is the shocks. I changed almost every part of my front suspension, and each little noise was another part.
how many km on your car?
for shocks.. the OEM dealer sport shock are ridiculously cheap.

does it bounce endlessly when you push the front up and down? There is nothing unusual on the x-type front suspension. the sway bar bushing are a little hard to get at. the top bearing is a little different, the rotate bearing is a seperate part from the up-down support bearing. it suposedly seperates the loads and distributes them in the strut tower better.
As a result, the strut top bearing can rattle a little more easily than a typical strut.
If you are confident the shocks dont have proper damping... id use OEM stuff.. cheap, easy, and most like the ride...

RE: Guys...Help me find some shocks...
I paid $135 Canadian dollars each at the dealer here in June. They were less expensive than the comfort shocks. part number C2S20557 the comfort ones are C2S29541 they were $160
the dealer computer insisted that this part number was for active suspension, something that was never on an X type. I had to order both sets to convince the parts guy that the description was a typo.
when we finally saw both the comfort and sport shocks side by side, he admitted there was an error on the parts computer.
the comfort shock was printed in large letter "FRONT AWD STD" the others "FRONT AWD SPORT" plus there were no electrical connectors on them.
It sucks that I have to have these so called fights with the dealer. the parts guy kinda does not like me, but if it was up to him, id be driving around on comfort shocks.
anyway for OEM parts, I think that is a great deal.
