Happy tire experience
With most post asking how to fix something or HELP my car wont start I figured I'd post something positive. I was just surfing the net the other day and typed in my tire size and came across a sale on Potenza tires at tires plus. My tires were a bit ratty snow tires so I figured I'd stop in on the way home just to check it out.
I started chatting with the guy at the counter and asked how they torqued the tires. There was a service tec right behind him, he turned and said we hand torque all tires then said lets take a look and we walked to my car, looking at the car he noticed I had 2 different tread patterns then explained a few things. Then he said you'll need the stick on weights for balancing before I even mentioned it to him, because that was my next question. Long storie short that sold me right there, we went inside he looked up the torque spec and I made an appointment for the for the next day (sat) I was in and out in less than an hour, paid less than $580 including tax and the car has never driven as nice as it does now. Don't know if all these places are the same but you may want to check them out if your in need of tires. (Tire size 225/45 hr17)

No they are G019 I think. They are on sale at Tires Plus. I can't comment much on handling I have only put about 40 miles on them and have not been over 50 MPH. I had Dunlap's on it before and they were way too harsh, small bumps felt like pot holes and they were so loud I thought I was loosing a bearing. The new tires are quiet and smooth, the handling seems fine but like I said I haven't really tested them yet. My ride to work is only 7 miles stop and go thru the city.
