Have You Named Your Cat, Looking To Name Mine!
I thought I'd see how many other crazies we have here! So how many people have named their Jaguars?
I'm not sure why, but I just think of my kitty as female. Maybe because all of the women in my life have been beautiful, coy and capricious! Needing constant maintenance yet collectively have given me the greatest pleasures in life. Making me feel totally alive when I'm with her!
I'm considering naming her Minou, which is French.
What name did you give yours?

Hobbs, my old X-Type was named K'Re Ann. I like something a bit different and instead of calling "her" Carrie Ann, I simply changed the spelling to give it a bit of a twist. My 2012 XJ I have named Jackie. That was a name that popped into my head partly because of Jackie O (a fine, sophisticated woman) and also because the car came equipped with Lo-Jack. So, it is kinda a dual meaning for me.
Could always bring back good memories and name the car after an old girlfriend. LMAO. Otherwise, if you ever lost the war with naming the kids and had a name that you wanted to name a daughter, this is your chance. Otherwise, the list of possible names is endless.

All 3 of my cars have names.....My 928S is named Sally after a fast girl I knew in school, in the mid 70s. My X Type is named Boo Boo Kitty because she is so sweet and causes me no grief. My XK8 is just named ****, because she screwed me so much, when I just got her.(like I was expecting a perfect car for $3000) I'm thinking of renaming her, now that she is perfect......Be cool....Mike

Mike,
Those are great! Boo Boo Kitty has so many different interpretations, well you'll just have to pick the one that suits your needs. I've been trying to remember the name of a literary **** that changed her evil ways. Oh well... if I remember her I'll send the name your way.
I'm trying Kitty on for size with my X. Minou had all sorts of dirty, nasty, funny double entendres. I can't go through life trying to delicately explain it's meaning in French! Although if I think about it... no one will probably ask.

P.S. If you think about the $3k. You probably could have had one hell of a night with one hell of a sexy slutty lady... but in the morning you'd have to walk home!

I bought my X-Type about the time the remains of King Richard III of England were found.
Richard III it is. Good, stout English name. And he got a boat load of bad press from Shakespeare that he most likely did not deserve.
He runs flawlessly, so I refer to him as Richard. If he develops a new personality, I'll call him some variation of Dick. He knows that, and doesn't want to ever be called Dick....so he runs great!

I was thinking of the barmaid Kitty from the 1950's TV show "Gunsmoke". Kitty is tough and hard with a soft, warm heart. And yet... similar to Mr. Plow's ****, you know she'll screw you for a lot of money at the drop of a hat!
