Head Lamp Washers
I recently noticed my passenger side headlamp washer was missing so i bought a new unit from the main dealers, it looks like it should just push into place but does n't seem quite long enough to snap into place.Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance

Following advice recieved from http://www.jaguarforum.co.uk
"I think you need to operate the washers or rather have someone do it for you with lights on. This will extend the washer jet piston which can then be held to prevent it retracting again.
You may then be able to attach the new cover or at least see what is preventing the new one being attached."
I tried it and it seems to have worked, well its in now and after six operations theres no signs of it coming out but, it seems its only the interference fit around the O ring which is holding it, having said that it is is a supprisingly snug fit !.
