Headlight unit renewal
Just spent two and a half hours changing my headlight units due to broken adjusters.
What i found is that you only need to undo the the bolts on the ends of the splash guard so you can pull it down enough to get the wheel arch liner away to get to the 10mm bolt inside the wing.
Taking the bumper off was easy and straight forward, what turned out to be the biggest issue was the multi plugs on the headlights themselves what a stupid design with not enough loom to get the light out far enough to see the push in tab.
Also put new bulbs in before refitting new units to find out that the osram night breakers i put in the dipped beams would not work.
`Had to back to the original bulbs.
Also the inner bolts on the bottom of the headlights both snapped off
