Default Heater hose r and r???

Wife seems to have a giant leak out of her waterpump so I ordered all the hoses (well all the hoses that I was willing to pay for and will use bulk hosing for some of the others for our 05 X. Just got it in the garage to have a look at what fun I will have. Doesn't look bad except for the bottom heater hose connections. Did a search and a bunch of people asked but no one really answered on a good way to do it. My only thought was that the intake needs to come off but I'm hoping not to need to do that. Who has done em?

if you are replacing the heater hoses the intake must come off. There is no other way around it. sorry for the bad news. If you are doing it, and need help I can walk you through it on the phone if need be.

Good Luck,
The Dr!

Thanks Dr. Dome. I had it off when I did the plugs so I should be fine. Still looks like a pitra to get at them down there even when it is off though. Would have hated to take it off then find out that you still don't have access down there.
