Default Help with identifying a part.

Hey there, long time lurker sometimes poster here. I have a 2002 X-type that I lent to my mother. She ended up entering a driveway too fast and hit some strange pipe underneath the radiator. It looks almost like a mini-radiator, which began to leak Transmission Fluid. I found the piece hanging underneath the car and it left a huge puddle of Transmission fluid. Can someone tell me what part this is and what it would take to replace/fix it?

Edit: Also, my Transmission's gears don't engage at all. It doesn't go into reverse or drive, I assume the Tranny was completely drained of fluid.

Does it look like the part arrowed in red?

If so, it's the transmission oil cooler.

Default Oil Cooler

Should look like this:

This is a combined tranny and power steering oil cooler, one unit but separate cooling tubes.
