Default Help needed: Transfer case/passenger side axle

My passenger side axle is loose on the transfer case side. There is a sleeve that the axle slips into on the transfer case. Although the shaft can be removed from the transfer case, it is not sold separately from Jaguar. The previous owner (my uncle) just had the transfer case put in before I bought the car, and the shop that did the installation (my step-dad's shop) said that this piece wasn't included with the transfer case they put in, so they took it off the old one. They can't remember how the axle is connected on the inside of this shaft and said they need to take it back out to find out exactly what is wrong and why it could be loose. And by "they need to take it back out", they mean I need to do it haha.

Has anyone else run into this problem? How is the axle connected on the inside of this shaft? If the shaft needs replaced, can anyone point me to a place where I could buy this piece without buying a new transfer case?
