Exclamation Help! Throttle Body Electrical Connector Smashed

I have a 2002 3.0 X-type and the 2-wire connector to the bottom of the throttle body got smashed.

The color of the wires are Red and Green.
They are Connected vertically (Top and Bottom).

I just wanna know the Color Order from Top to Bottom that you have on your car before I try anything.
(Example: Red,Green)

It's a really simple peak under the hood.

*And one more thing: Does any know where I could get connectors/ harness online?

Thanks Guys

xFyght, the red wire is on top and the green wire is on bottom. You should be able to stick the wires on to the posts and use the car long enough to get the parts you need.

Now, as for getting the parts. I don't think you are going to like what I have to say, but this is the short of the story. No where that I am aware of sells just the connector. In order to get the connector, you are going to have to buy the whole engine harness for the car, which I am sure you are thinking, is going to cost you an arm and a leg. All auto recyclers that I am aware of are going to do that. The same thing is true of the dealership. There just isn't that much of a call for the connectors.

Your best bet would be to go to a place like Brandywine Auto Recyclers, talk with them and see if you can cross reference what Jags they may have on their lot or another Ford product from about the same year. Then, hopefully you can find a car that the wiring harness is damaged (someone has already cut another plug off or the car was damaged enough from the front end collision that the wiring harness is no good. Then you can offer them say $10 to cut the connector off and you can then rebuild it from there.

I am from south of you by about an hour. I am down near the California, MD area. Hence why I know about Brandywine. You may want to give some of the other yards a call just to see what sort of deal you can work out.

Get them while they last!

emorillo2: Have you tried Ford electrical connector WPT-1269?

[WPT-1269]Motorcraft/Ford Wire Assembly(WPT-1269)

Connector WPT-1269 is in Ford's electrical connector catalog, page 12:

Not sure what this question has to do with a smashed connector on the throttle body. But to answer it, if you hit the button and you see something like "no phone" showing up in the display it means you do not have that feature on your car. Most of them do not have phone module, yet all the cars still had the button though.

Great catalog, thank you for the info!
My copy is now safely tucked away in the HDD.

(boy, do I miss the "good 'ol days" when you could fix or replace any connector with a couple of spade or barrel female-end crimp connectors, and water-proof it with a shot of RTV [or #2] gasket maker - all for under a $1)

This is a good video showing how to rebuild ekectrucal connectors, presuming you do have access to the components

Default Connectors on ebay

It would appear ford started using the same connector many years later for a vvt solenoid connection...
