I bought 6k and I was able to use it only for a day before take the headlights off Anyway nowadays I´m thinking about to get 8k bulbs as replace and to check which one I like more. Isn´t the 6k too much white? I´m afraid about the vision improve it´s awesome and maybe I could have some problems with the police [:@]

And, on the other hand, I will change both fog and long bulbs for 6500k H1 bulbs (only the bulb) and I don´t know if the colour tonality will be more homogeneus with 6k or 8k for the HID installation on main bulbs. What do you think?

6000K Xenons will make you happy more than enough .Don't forget having higher values don't mean it will bright lighter .It can dramatically reduces comfort level due to over glazing namely on wet conditions

racaz, dont do it man. I love the blue color too, but it looks like people who have 8000k dont see very far, for your safety. Also 8000k and up on low beam might make your car more gangserish I can say. You know what I mean peice of shet civic that is all modded and nice blue lights lol. I am thinking of putting 8000k fogs.

I swear by the 8000k bulbs that I installed. 6000k looks like a hyper white halogen in some cars, especially cars with bad optics. In the X, 6000k looks pretty good, but 8000k looks better IMO.

I'll post more pix of what my 8000k bulbs look like. I can assure you it isn't Honda Civic inspired , especially since the X-Type has projectors.

4300 is the best possible HID light output there is in terms of actual light on the road. the higher you go, the most the color changes and the LESS Light output there is. period.

Yeah but the best compromise for look and brightness I'd say is 6k...if mydepot had the 5k kit I would have gotten that one though! Uniform look for me so I'd say 6k and 6k but jason lets see what'd happen with some 12k fogs! Inspire me to get those ones! The fogs are useless anyways...
